Patrick Pitre, PT, MTC, COMT

Patrick Pitre, PT, MTC, COMT

Patrick obtained his PT degree from McGill University in Canada. The shortage of Physical Therapist in the United States prompted him to move to Texas in 1996. Although this change was to fulfill a temporary career opportunity, life would bring much more to him. Indeed, he found the love of his life here in Amarillo, Texas (who also happens to be the clinic's co-owner!).

For this first 14 years of his career, Patrick worked at a local Outpatient Rehab facility where he specialized in caring for patients with Orthopedic issues. Becoming an owner was only a question of time as he enjoys working with people, finance and the business aspect of Physical therapy. "This allowed me to combine my interests and passion under one umbrella. When the timing was right, I was exited to finally realize a dream."

Patrick enjoys learning and is continually reading journal articles and attending numerous seminars. He also obtained 2 manual therapy certifications (Paris and IAOM).

In his free time, spending time with his wife and daughter is a priority. He also enjoys boating, exercising and watching sporting events.

Aletta Davis-Pitre, PT

Aletta Davis-Pitre, PT

Aletta, an Amarillo native, graduated with a degree in physical therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2003. Aletta's desire to become a physical therapist began during her sophomore at Amarillo High School. During her junior year at Amarillo High, she was one of several students selected within AISD to observe a healthcare profession of her choice at a local hospital for one day. Of course, she signed up to observe PT; though there was a slight mix-up as she was placed with an OB/GYN! Although Aletta thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience with the OB/GYN, it didn't deter her from her plans of studying to become a PT. As always, everything happens for a reason. During Aletta's third year of undergraduate studies, she learned of the perinatal, postpartum, and pelvic floor rehab specialties, and immediately realized her specific passion within PT. The day spent with the OB/GYN gave her a good foundation as she began to specialize in this aspect of care.

She was fortunate to begin her work of specializing in pelvic floor rehab even prior to graduation, and has focused her skills since on addressing the pelvic needs of men, women, and children. Aletta is passionate about helping those affected by pelvic pain, voiding dysfunctions, and incontinence to improve the quality of their lives and return to normal activities.

In 2011, Aletta took a professional leap with her husband to open their own clinic, Optimal Physical Therapy, and have been blessed with a solid, growing clinic. In their spare time, their world revolves around their daughter as they soak up all the family time possible.
